Accounting Manager

Kognity AB · Stockholm · Tills vidare · Deadline 2026-11-02

Kognity AB is recruiting an **Accounting Manager** to lead and modernise the financial operations of its growing EdTech business across Sweden, the UK, and the US. Reporting to the CFO and collaborating closely with a Financial Controller and an FP&A Specialist, the position oversees end-to-end accounting processes, including monthly and annual closings, statutory reporting, expense management, and supplier payments. Responsibilities also cover banking relationships, daily payments, proactive liquidity and foreign exchange management, as well as designing and maintaining internal controls and ensuring timely **audit and tax compliance** across all operating jurisdictions. Additionally, the role collaborates across departments, such as Order-to-Cash and People & Culture, to maintain accounting standards across the organisation. Candidates must have a strong understanding of accounting, audit, statutory reporting, and tax within an international business setting, alongside a strong grasp of the **Swedish K3 accounting framework**. Required qualifications include demonstrated experience managing external accounting service partners, running tax and audit compliance processes, and communicating complex finance requirements clearly to non-finance colleagues. Applicants should also bring an interest in driving process automation and adopting AI tooling.

This is a chance to own and modernise the financial backbone of a growing EdTech business, building the processes, controls and external partnerships that keep accounting accurate and compliant across Sweden, the UK and the US.

You'll report to our CFO and work closely with our Financial Controller and FP&A Specialist, a dynamic and driven team that shares ownership of Kognity's financial health.
