Guidance Forward AB is recruiting an **AI Engineer / Data Scientist** for a full-time, permanent position based in the Gothenburg area, with an office in Partille. Working in a **hybrid arrangement** that combines project locations across the Gothenburg area, the office, and remote work, the role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions. Core duties include building applications with Generative AI and Large Language Models, developing predictive models and data analytics workflows, processing datasets using Python and SQL, and collaborating with software engineers and business stakeholders to integrate and continuously monitor models in business applications. Applicants must hold a **relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering or similar**, paired with professional experience in AI, machine learning, or data science. Mandatory skills include strong Python and SQL programming, practical experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn, knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and model evaluation, alongside familiarity with Git, Agile methods, and good English communication skills. Experience with RAG, LangChain, vector databases, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), Docker, CI/CD, MLOps, or data visualisation tools is considered meritorious.

Work arrangement
Hybrid – our office is at Furumossen 43347 Partille. Depending on project requirements, work may take place at our office or at project locations anywhere in the Gothenburg area, with remote work opportunities.
Employment
Full-time, permanent employment (100%), subject to a genuine employment offer and agreed contract.
Main responsibilities
• Design, develop and implement AI and machine learning solutions.
• Build applications using Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop predictive models and data analytics solutions.
• Process and analyse datasets using Python and SQL.
• Develop and evaluate AI models and integrate them into business applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers and business stakeholders.
• Support deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
Required qualifications
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering or similar.
• Professional experience in AI, machine learning or data science.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs and AI model evaluation.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile development and software engineering practices.
• Good English communication skills.
