Working within the Analytics team, the role bridges advanced quantitative analysis and commercial strategy to support underwriting, pricing, and profitability monitoring. Key responsibilities include analysing large datasets, building automated models and analytical tools, performing forecasting, and identifying new market segments and business opportunities across Spain and broader European markets. Daily work involves extensive use of tools such as Excel, SQL, R, and Python to generate data-driven business insights. Candidates must hold a **Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science**, or a similar quantitatively focused field, supported by strong academic results. Applicants must possess **fluent Spanish and English** in both speech and writing, solid Excel skills, and practical experience with programming and data analysis tools such as SQL, R, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent software. Prior experience in data science, analytics, finance, or the insurance sector is considered an advantage but is not required.

About the Role
As an Analyst, you will become part of our Analytics team, consisting of highly skilled colleagues with backgrounds from leading universities and technical institutions, including KTH, LTH, Lund University, Uppsala University, Stockholm University and Stockholm School of Economics.
The Analytics team has overall responsibility for profitability analysis and works closely with the business across areas such as underwriting, renewals and strategic development projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Pricing and underwriting of insurance products
- Profitability analysis and performance monitoring
- Identifying and analysing new market segments and business opportunities across Spain and broader European markets.
- Developing analytical tools, models and automation solutions
- Forecasting and project management
- Working with and analysing large datasets
- Supporting strategic and commercial decision-making through data-driven insights
The role is varied and combines advanced analytics with commercial understanding. You will work extensively with tools such as Excel, SQL, R and Python.
About You
We are looking for an analytically and mathematically strong individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. You are comfortable taking responsibility, working independently and challenging both yourself and established ways of working.
We believe you have:
- A Master´s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or a similar quantitatively focused field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent academic results
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, MATLAB or similar tools
- Strong Excel skills
- Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken
- An interest in using data and analysis to solve real business problems
Previous experience in areas such as data science, analytics, finance or insurance is an advantage, but not a requirement. What matters most to us is your analytical ability, problem-solving mindset, commercial curiosity and ambition to develop.
