Nordnet Bank AB is recruiting an **Analytics Engineer** to join its Analytics Engineering team within Data & Insights, working alongside five other analytics engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts. The role focuses on transforming raw information into reliable, accessible data products and data structures in BigQuery that inform company-wide decisions, growth, and service development. Responsibilities also include collaborating across departments to understand business needs and assessing how artificial intelligence can practically enhance the development and use of data insights. The position offers the possibility of a **hybrid workplace**. Candidates should have around three or more years of experience in an analytics engineering, business intelligence, data analyst, or data engineering role, prioritizing depth of experience. Applicants need competence in designing and building data warehouses, **strong SQL and modern transformation framework experience** (such as dbt) with practices like version control, testing, and code review, as well as familiarity with business intelligence tools like Looker. Effective communication skills for bridging technical and business discussions and familiarity with using AI coding assistants are also sought. Final candidates will undergo background, credit, and drug testing.

This is you
You're an empathetic problem solver who likes bringing ideas to the table and working in a way that makes team life easier. We believe most of these describe you:
- Have 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst or Data Engineer. We care more about the depth of that experience than the exact count.
- Skilled in designing and building data warehouses and analytics platforms.
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a modern transformation framework (dbt in our case) plus the engineering habits that come with it: version control, code review, testing.
- A clear communicator who enjoys translating complex tech concepts into plain language for business stakeholders and vice versa.
- Experience with a Business Intelligence tool (we use Looker).
- Use AI coding assistants in your day-to-day work with a feel for when to trust their output.
