Jönköping International Business School at Jönköping University is hiring four full-time **Assistant Professors in Business Administration** for permanent positions based in Jönköping. The roles span teaching, research, outreach, and institutional service, with candidates specializing in one or a combination of Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Organization, Responsible Digitalization and AI, or Strategy. Faculty conduct rigorous research, apply for external grants, engage with industry and society, and join one or more research centres such as CeFEO, CEnSE, or MMTC. Teaching is conducted in English, distributed over the academic year, and requires **campus presence throughout the year**. Applicants must hold a **doctorate in business administration or a closely related area** by the start date and have relevant teaching experience. Candidates who meet the university's criteria for Associate Professor will be considered for promotion either directly or through a promotion assessment. Selection places strong weight on institutional fit, communication, and collaboration skills. Meritorious qualifications include articles in highly ranked journals (AJG 3 or above), a research agenda targeting top outlets, EU funding experience, an international profile, relevant professional experience outside academia, and close alignment with the school’s focus on entrepreneurship, ownership, and renewal.

JIBS is recruiting Assistant Professors in Business Administration with one or a combination of specializations in Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Organization, Responsible Digitalization and AI, and Strategy.

We are seeking a candidate specialized in Entrepreneurship. The candidate should have experience with entrepreneurial activities (e.g., as business developer or founder) and an interest in entrepreneurial ventures that support environmental goals and/or societal transformation.

For the position on Responsible Digitalization and AI, we are looking for a candidate focused on the social and organizational impact of digital business transformation, digital business models, the responsible use of AI, and an interest in the possibilities of using new forms of digital data in research and collaboration projects.

For the position in Sustainable Organization, we are looking for a candidate focused on the organizational behaviour of sustainable organizations, for example their leadership and change behaviours, as well as their role in the development of new markets and organizational fields.

For the position in _Strategy_with focus on strategic development for competitiveness, we are looking for a candidate focused on topics such as strategy processes and practice, strategic change, global strategy, and project management.

The research at JIBS is to a large extent conducted within one of, or across, its three research centres:

The positions comprise of teaching, research, outreach, and service to JIBS. Teaching is performed primarily on campus, in English, and distributed over the academic year. All faculty at JIBS are expected to do rigorous and relevant research, apply for externally funded research grants, as well as be engaged with business and society at large, to improve JIBS’ impact in the broader society. We are looking for applicants with a collegial attitude and a willingness to build not only their own CVs but also contribute to the organization.

To be eligible for a position as an Assistant Professor at JIBS you must have been awarded a doctor’s degree (at the time of starting the position) in business administration or a closely related area from a reputable university and have relevant teaching experience. Applicants fulfilling JIBS criteria for Associate Professors are welcomed and will be considered for promotion to Associate Professor directly or following a promotion process.
