The role
We are looking for a backend developer with around five years of professional experience and strong analytical skills. You should have a solid foundation in computer science and experience working with backend systems in a professional environment.
In this role, you will help shape and build software solutions – with a focus on scalability, robustness, and performance. You will work in a modern technical environment that includes databases, APIs, and cloud services. We primarily use Python, but experience from other backend environments is also highly valuable.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain backend components for flight optimization services, either in a full-stack team or in a dedicated backend team.

We are looking for someone who has
- A university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Around five years of professional experience in backend development.
- Experience working with AI-assisted development to maximize both quality and delivery capability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a good understanding of software design principles such as SOLID and DRY, as well as backend concepts such as message queues, APIs, data modeling, and security.
- Experience with at least one major backend language. Experience with Python is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
- A self-driven way of working and a genuine motivation to build robust and maintainable systems.
- Very good communication and collaboration skills.
