Core responsibilities include managing monthly report refresh cycles, validating results, handling ad hoc reporting requests, troubleshooting refresh failures, and investigating data discrepancies across reporting solutions and data sources. Candidates must possess strong **expertise in Power BI** Service and Power BI Desktop, alongside experience working with dataflows and semantic models. The role requires solid knowledge of Power Query (M) and existing DAX calculations, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join an international fashion company on a consulting assignment. About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will support the Central People Organisation with daily Power BI operations and reporting activities. Your main responsibility will be to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely reporting by managing report refresh cycles, investigating data discrepancies, and maintaining existing reporting solutions.
This is a hands-on, operational role where you will work independently while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation. You will play an important part in ensuring stable reporting processes and supporting continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly Power BI report refresh cycles, validate results, and ensure timely publication of reports.
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies across reports and data sources.
- Troubleshoot refresh failures, reporting issues, and data quality concerns.
- Maintain and improve existing Power BI reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.
- Experience working with dataflows and semantic models.
- Good knowledge of Power Query (M) and existing DAX calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
As a person, you are structured, detail oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. You enjoy working in an operational environment where you can apply your technical expertise to ensure high quality reporting and efficient processes.
