Rasulson Consulting AB is seeking a **Business Architect SAP** on behalf of a client to support ongoing business transformation initiatives within an SAP landscape. The role focuses on aligning business requirements, information flows, and SAP-supported solutions. Core duties include running process-mapping workshops, assessing existing and future-state processes, identifying inefficiencies and risks, and maintaining business process models, capability maps, and information models. The position also involves supporting **process harmonization** across organizations and markets, contributing to business architecture roadmaps, producing governance and functional documentation, and assisting with broader transformation programs alongside business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams. Candidates must have extensive experience as a Business Architect, Business Analyst, or Process Architect, paired with demonstrated expertise in modeling complex business processes. The position requires a solid understanding of SAP enterprise landscapes, **hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA**, and practical skills in requirements management, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Experience within the automotive industry, background in large-scale ERP transformations, knowledge of TOGAF, experience with SAP Signavio or similar tools, and cross-border process harmonization are considered meritorious.
Business Architect – SAP-Enabled Business Transformation
About the role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Business Architect to support ongoing business transformation initiatives within an SAP landscape. You will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, Solution Architects and SAP teams to document, assess and improve business processes across several functional areas.
Responsibilities
- Build a clear picture of how the business works today, define future-state processes and ensure that business requirements, information flows and SAP-supported solutions stay aligned
- Run process-mapping workshops and review existing processes and system support
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Define and maintain business process models, capability maps and information models
- Support process harmonization across organizations and markets
- Help turn business needs into sustainable solutions and contribute to the wider business architecture roadmap
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including process maps, business requirements, functional descriptions, information flows and governance material
- Support change initiatives and contribute to broader business transformation programs
Required skills and experience
- Extensive experience as a Business Architect, Business Analyst or Process Architect
- Demonstrated ability to document and model complex business processes
- Solid understanding of SAP business processes and enterprise system landscapes
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related business domains
- Hands-on experience in business process modeling, requirements management, information modeling, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management
- Ability to grasp both business objectives and technical constraints
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
