Swedish Match Sales Sweden Aktiebolag is hiring a **Business Planning Senior Specialist** to join its Nordic Finance function, supporting Nordic management and working across functions in delivering company transformation. Key responsibilities include translating strategic plans into operational business and financial projections, modelling market scenarios and competitor impacts, and supporting new product rollouts and pricing analyses. The position also involves presenting monthly forward-looking business performance reports, delivering ad hoc analyses to guide decision-making, and overseeing local data governance. The role features a **hybrid work model**, allowing time to be split between the office and working from home according to business needs. Candidates should hold a **degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or Industrial Engineering** alongside at least two years of experience in finance, business planning, or strategy within an international company, preferably in FMCG or another consumer business. Essential requirements include fluency in spoken and written English, a solid grasp of financial value flows and income statement components, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with Power BI is considered an advantage.

Your “day-to-day”
The Business Planning Team, as part of the Nordic Finance function, supports Nordic Management in delivering our transformation across the Nordic markets. As a Business Planning Sr Specialist, you will be part of the Finance community and interact daily with almost all other functions in the company.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Support the translation of strategic plans into operational business and financial plans that support the local market strategy
- Provide insightful analysis to support the conversion of the consumer journey into financial projections and integrate them into business plans
- Provide forward-looking financial insights into market conditions, competitors and alternative business scenarios
- Support the rollout of new products
- Prepare ad hoc analyses to support the decision-making process and maximize ROI
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports, striving to provide a clear and comprehensive view of the business
- Present monthly business performance with forward-looking analysis
- Support pricing analysis and provide recommendations to the management team
- Understand the impact of various regulatory measures on business performance
- Manage local data governance to ensure alignment with our standards

The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics or Industrial Engineering
- A minimum of two years of work experience in Finance, Business Planning and/or Strategy in an international company, preferably in FMCG or another consumer business
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with excellent report-writing skills
- Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to influence decisions through engaging, clear and compelling communication
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with Power BI is beneficial
- Understanding of financial value flows and income statement components, from revenue through to profit
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and logical thinking
