Siemens Energy AB is recruiting a **Calculation Engineer** based in Finspång to support the Gas Services division on onshore and offshore energy projects. Working closely with designers and fellow calculation engineers, the role focuses on evaluating the strength, durability, and reliability of products. Core responsibilities include constructing and analyzing finite element models to determine static capacity, stiffness, stability, and fatigue of structures. The position also entails creating and maintaining scripts to automate workflows, as well as delivering technical reports and presentations to internal teams and external customers. The arrangement may offer an eventual possibility of a **flexible working place**. Candidates must hold a **degree in Mechanical Engineering**, Structural Engineering, or a related field, with a curriculum focus on structural analysis and strength. The position requires practical experience with the Finite Element Method (FEM), skills in building simulation models, and hands-on familiarity with tools such as Abaqus, HyperWorks, Ansa, or Ansys. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Experience with Python or MATLAB is considered an advantageous bonus.

- Create and maintain proprietary scripts in Python and MATLAB to streamline processes and innovate new methods of working.

What You Bring
- You possess strong analytical skills and a natural talent for solving technical challenges.

- You have experience with the Finite Element Method (FEM) and are skilled in creating simulation models.
