Randstad Digital is recruiting a **Configuration/Requirement and Change Manager** for a consultancy assignment with a global industrial technology and smart mobility client. Working within an international engineering organization focused on embedded control, signaling, and communication systems, the role leads product change initiatives and implements configuration management processes. Responsibilities include serving as key user and administrator for configuration tools, verifying database consistency, managing change requests, leading Configuration Control Boards, and guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams alongside System Architects and Program Development Managers. Applicants must hold a **master’s degree in engineering** in fields such as systems, electronic, software engineering, or equivalent. The role requires **3–5 years of configuration and change management experience** using tools such as EWM or Synergy Change, alongside hands-on experience with DevOps (CI/CD) pipelines, requirement management, embedded software and hardware development, and international team collaboration. Fluency in English is essential. Experience with industrial safety standards and proficiency in Swedish are considered advantageous.

Randstad Digital is currently seeking a Configuration/Requirement and Change Manager for a consultant assignment at a global tech leader in industrial technology and smart mobility.
You will join an international development organization focused on complex embedded control, signaling and communication systems. You will lead product change initiatives, drive best practices across engineering teams, and help guide the development of next-generation hardware and software solutions focused on high performance, security, and advanced functionality.
Responsibilities
- Implementing robust Configuration and Change Management processes for product development.
- Administrating and serving as the key user for Configuration and Change Management tools.
- Driving and guiding engineers in their daily change and configuration activities.
- Verifying data quality and consistency across the Configuration and Change Management database.
- Managing product change requests and leading Configuration Control Boards.
- Acting as the primary line of contact and providing coaching and guidelines to multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborating daily with Program Development Managers, System Architects, and engineering teams.

Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and organized engineering professional who thrives in collaborative, international environments and values passion and attitude as much as technical expertise.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Master’s degree in engineering (System Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar).
- 3-5 years of experience as a Configuration and Change Manager using tools such as EWM, Synergy Change, or similar.
- Proven experience working with DevOps (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Practical background working within requirement management.
- Experience in the development of embedded software and hardware.
- Demonstrated experience working within international teams.
- Fluency in English.
We'll be particularly impressed if you also have:
- Knowledge or experience with relevant industrial safety standards.
- Proficiency in Swedish.
