Construction and Facility Project Manager

Nordic Investin Group Aktiebolag · Stockholm · Tills vidare

Nordic Investin Group is recruiting a **Construction and Facility Project Manager** on behalf of a partner company delivering a facility upgrade within an active operational environment. Working closely with delivery teams, the manager oversees the entire lifecycle from planning, design, permits, and procurement through construction, commissioning, and final operational handover. Key responsibilities include controlling schedules, budgets, safety, and quality, alongside managing contractors and commercial follow-up. A primary focus involves planning shutdowns, site access, and operational measures to safeguard ongoing business continuity while coordinating across technical and operational stakeholders. Candidates must have experience leading facility, construction, or installation projects, supported by strong capabilities in schedule, cost, and contractor management. The role requires an understanding of regulatory and safety responsibilities, structured risk and change management, and **professional Swedish and English**. Backgrounds may stem from construction management, engineering, property development, or technical operations. Additional value is placed on experience with **industrial, laboratory, or logistics facilities**, contract standards and commercial claims handling, or energy efficiency and sustainability projects. Specific employment terms, compensation, and working arrangements are clarified directly during the recruitment process.

One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for a Construction and Facility Project Manager, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. You keep safety, operations, contractors and cost aligned while a physical environment is changing around them.

The partner is delivering a facility upgrade in an active operational setting. You will manage design, permits, procurement, construction and handover while protecting business continuity and ensuring that responsibilities are clear across internal and external parties.

Projects are judged by operational outcomes, benefit ownership and the quality of decisions made along the way. Governance should create clarity and momentum while making risk visible early enough for meaningful action.

How you will work

You will create a practical delivery rhythm across workstreams with different owners and incentives. The partner expects concise preparation, explicit dependencies and decisions recorded clearly enough to survive handovers. Escalation should bring options and consequences, not only a problem statement.

As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. Seniority here means broader judgement and follow through, not distance from delivery.

Experience that would add value

A background that can succeed here

You may come from construction management, engineering, property development or technical operations. The partner values leaders who spend enough time close to the work to see emerging risk while maintaining disciplined reporting and decision control.

What makes the opportunity interesting

The project has tangible outcomes and a clear route from plan to functioning facility. You will have broad ownership, experienced technical counterparts and the opportunity to leave an environment that works better for the people using it.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.

The recruitment conversation

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
