Nexer Telescope AB is recruiting a **Control System Integrator** to work with EPICS-based systems. The core work spans the complete delivery lifecycle, including analyzing and defining requirements for diverse control systems, architecting and designing components, and handling implementation and testing. Responsibilities also cover continuous maintenance, support, and improvements of delivered components, as well as overseeing quality control and ensuring regulatory compliance. Applicants must hold a **BSc in Engineering Physics, Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering** alongside excellent oral and written English skills. Mandatory practical requirements include experience in **EPICS-based control system integration**, at least two years of experience developing, integrating, and commissioning PLC-based control systems, and proven experience in verification and validation. Candidates holding an MSc in the specified fields, knowledge of HMI/OPI development, familiarity with git and collaborative tools like Jira and Confluence, or previous experience in complex, international scientific or technical projects are considered advantageous.
We are now looking for Control System Integrators with experience in EPICS.
Scope:
- Analysis and definition of requirements for different control systems

Requirements:
- BSc in Engineering Physics, Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in EPICS-based control system integration
- 2+ years of experience in developing, integrating and commissioning PLC based control systems
- Experience in verification and validation of control systems
- Excellent oral and written English skills
Good to have:
- MSc in Engineering Physics, Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience and knowledge of HMI/OPI development
- Experience from working with configuration management tools, source code management tools, and version control systems (preferably git)
- Experience from complex, international, technical and/or scientific projects
- Experience from collaborative electronic tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience from working in an international environment
- Knowledge of additional European languages
