Microsoft Sweden 1172 AB is recruiting a **Critical Environment Operations Manager** within Microsoft’s Cloud Infrastructure and Operations (MCIO). The role oversees the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and control system equipment supporting Microsoft's cloud services and online businesses. Key responsibilities include leading a technical team of mechanical and electrical professionals, maximizing critical environment availability, reducing incidents, advancing cost and energy efficiency initiatives, and managing power, temperature, relative humidity, and SLA reporting. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter. Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, experience managing budgets of $500,000 or more, experience with physical IT and critical environment infrastructures, and relevant technical or leadership certifications.
