Mission Consultancy Assistance Sweden AB is looking for a **Cyber Security Engineer** to identify vulnerabilities across complex technological environments. The role centers on carrying out **in-depth penetration testing** across Windows and Linux environments, Red Hat, Citrix Workspaces, Cloud infrastructures, and APIs. Working alongside development and security teams, the position involves uncovering technical gaps, conducting vulnerability analyses, and helping to remediate identified security weaknesses. Applicants must possess practical hands-on experience in penetration testing, paired with strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills for working both independently and in teams. Required competencies include a solid grasp of network protocols, operating systems, application architectures, and common vulnerabilities and exploits (CVEs), along with proficiency in tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, or Nessus. Experience with cloud security—particularly AWS—source code review techniques, scripting in languages such as Python or PowerShell, and knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS are advantageous, as are **certifications such as OSCP**, CEH, or PenTest+.

Qualifications:
- You have a strong understanding of network protocols, both Windows and Linux operating systems, application architectures and Red Hat
- In-depth knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploits (CVEs)
- Proficiency in using various penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite and/or Nessus
Additional skills:
- Experience with cloud security, particularly AWS.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with source code review techniques.
- Understanding of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, CIS
- Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, PEN TEST+
