Nordnet Bank AB is seeking a **Data Analyst** to join its Data & Insights team, working embedded alongside designers, product leads, and developers within product development teams. The role focuses on turning customer, financial, and company data into actionable insights through statistical analysis, hypothesis-driven experimentation, A/B testing, and advanced modeling or AI. Duties include defining analytical problems, presenting findings to decision-makers, and refining existing methodologies. The position operates under a **hybrid work model**, combining remote flexibility with in-person collaboration at the Stockholm office. Applicants should hold a **degree in economics, data science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or a similar field**, alongside 3+ years of experience working as a data analyst within a product-oriented organisation. Competence with tools such as SQL, Python, R, and dbt is expected, paired with hands-on experience in A/B testing and the ability to communicate insights clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Final candidates must undergo standard credit and background checks as well as a drug test.

The role
As a Data Analyst at Nordnet, you will be a part of Data & Insights, where you have the opportunity to work alongside Data analysts, Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers.
You will be embedded in our Product development teams, where you will be an integral component, working with designers, product leads and developers. You will deep-dive into our users and our products, and turn data into actionable insights.

- Going beyond simple questions, defining a problem and understanding the right analytical approach
- Conduct statistical analyses on our customer -, financial -, and company data to identify patterns of behaviour
- Design experiments to evaluate various hypotheses and design choices
- Utilize AI and advanced modeling to scale your impact
- Craft and present compelling stories that will impact our decision makers
- Help improve our existing methodologies
