Husqvarna AB · Jönköping · Tills vidare · Deadline 2026-11-09
Husqvarna AB is recruiting a **Design Engineer Accessories** to join its five-engineer accessories development team based on-site in Huskvarna. Working across new product development and product maintenance, the role takes ideas from early concepts to industrialized products such as carrying systems, personal protective equipment, and forestry tools. Duties include developing concepts and prototypes, approving parts within scope, creating 3D models and drawings in Catia V5, and building BOM structures in Teamcenter. The work entails close cross-functional collaboration with testing, design, purchasing, manufacturing, and external suppliers, alongside **occasional travel**, primarily within Sweden and exceptionally internationally. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, preferably in product development or mechanical engineering, combined with 3–5 years of mechanical design experience that includes **injection-moulded plastic components**. Essential requirements also include good working knowledge of Catia V5, PDM/PLM system experience, knowledge of polymer materials, measurement technology, and geometric assurance, as well as fluency in both Swedish and English. Experience with Teamcenter, Catia V5 surface modelling, injection-moulding tools, GD&T, cost calculations, technical project management, or verification and validation testing is advantageous.
We’re one of the world’s oldest start-ups — and we’re just getting started.
CE&ACC R&D consists of approximately 30 colleagues across three teams: two development teams and one test and verification team. We are now looking for an engaged mechanical engineer to join our Accessories team. Accessories develops a broad range of products, including carrying systems, personal protective equipment such as helmets and hearing protection, tools and equipment for forestry work and arborists, as well as several other product areas.
The Accessories team consists of five mechanical engineers and a Group Manager. It is a experienced team where colleagues work closely together, exchange knowledge and use each other’s experience even when working in different projects and initiatives. The team values openness, humility, shared learning and individual ownership.
