Stegra Boden AB is recruiting an **Electrical Operations Manager** to join its Energy & Power Distribution team within the Mill Services function. Reporting to the Head of Energy & Power Distribution, the position leads and coaches a team of electricians, oversees operations and maintenance to ensure a continuous power supply for production, and manages external service providers. A key responsibility involves serving as the **authorized supervisor of electrical installations**, ensuring strict compliance with internal standards and Swedish electrical safety legislation, alongside conducting failure analyses, process improvements, and cost optimization across low, medium, and high voltage networks. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical power engineering or a related field, combined with at least three years of relevant experience in a comparable role. Candidates must possess a **valid Auktorisation A (Swedish High Voltage Authorization)** or be eligible to obtain it. Additional qualifications include deep expertise in electrical distribution systems, hands-on experience with SCADA systems, strong knowledge of Swedish Electrical Safety Legislation and EU directives, and proven contractor management skills. Very good knowledge of English is required, while proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
What you’ll do
Right now, we are looking for a Electrical Operations Manager for our Energy & Power Distribution team. In this role you will report to our Head of Energy & Power Distribution and sit within our Mill Services function.
Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.
- Lead and support a team of electricians, providing daily guidance, coaching, and ensuring proper training and qualifications.
- Act as the authorized supervisor of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with electrical safety legislation and internal standards.
- Oversee operations, maintenance, and inspections to guarantee safe, reliable, and continuous power supply for production.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, reliability, and maintenance processes through failure analysis, corrective actions, and cost optimization.
- Manage external service providers and stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and up-to-date technical records.
What you’ll bring

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field.
- Valid Auktorisation A (Swedish High Voltage Authorization), or eligibility to obtain it.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
- Deep expertise in electrical distribution systems across low, medium, and high voltage networks.
- Strong background in electrical operations management with thorough knowledge of Swedish Electrical Safety Legislation (Elsäkerhetsverket) and EU directives.
- Proven ability to manage contractors and oversee on-site electrical safety responsibilities.
- Experience with SCADA systems, including protection, control, and measurement within electrical networks.
- Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
