The position entails developing, integrating, and maintaining software solutions for modern vehicle systems across various automotive domains, spanning both new product development and series production. Daily responsibilities include working with embedded platforms, ECUs, and associated components, supporting system integration, testing, and troubleshooting, contributing to software releases, and adhering to automotive development standards while collaborating with system, test, and verification teams. Applicants must have previous experience as a software engineer in automotive or embedded systems, along with programming proficiency in **C, C++, Matlab/Simulink, Python, or similar** tools. Candidates need a clear understanding of software development lifecycles, a structured and quality-oriented approach to work, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. **Fluency in both English and Swedish** and a valid work permit for Sweden are required.
About the role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work with development, integration, and maintenance of software solutions for modern automotive systems. The role covers embedded platforms across different vehicle domains and supports both new development and series production projects.
This is a general role intended to cover a broad range of embedded software profiles within automotive engineering.
