Perido is recruiting an **Employee Relations Specialist** for a consulting assignment with a global automotive client based in Södertälje, with some flexibility for remote work. This is a full-time position scheduled to run from 9 November 2026 until 31 May 2027. The core focus is advising managers and People & Culture teams on complex individual employee transition cases, whether internally or externally. Key responsibilities include identifying competence gaps and development needs, creating individual transition plans, coordinating stakeholders such as Labour Relations and external transition partners, and helping refine methods and templates within the career transition framework. Applicants must have **at least 5 years of relevant HR experience** in employee-related case handling, combined with strong advisory abilities and a sound understanding of role mismatches, redeployment, and development options. **Fluency in both Swedish and English**, written and spoken, is required. It is advantageous to hold a relevant education in HR, labour law, or a related field, as well as experience from the automotive sector, large People & Culture organizations, SuccessFactors, or working with transition bodies such as TRR or TSL.

About the position
Perido is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to our client, a global leader within the automotive industry. In this role, you will support managers and People & Culture (P&C) in handling complex individual employee cases where a career transition may be required—either internally within the company or externally. Your primary objective will be to enable earlier, more tailored handling of transition cases, reduce lead times, support internal mobility, and relieve the workload for managers and local P&C teams. The position is placed in Södertälje with some flexibility for working remote.
Your daily tasks
- Provide advisory support to managers and P&C in complex individual employee transition cases
- Assess individual cases, identify competence gaps, development needs, and potential internal or external career pathways
- Support managers in preparing structured, transparent employee dialogues and develop individual transition plans
- Coordinate relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as P&C Business Partners, Labour Relations, Redeployment, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, TRR, and external partners)
- Explore transition alternatives including internal mobility, reskilling, upskilling, redeployment, study leave, voluntary solutions, and external career transitions
- Monitor case progress alongside managers and P&C to ensure clarity, ownership, and timely follow-ups
- Contribute to improving methods, templates, processes, and overall ways of working within the career change framework

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in HR and employee-related case handling
- Good understanding of competence gaps, role mismatches, internal mobility, redeployment, and employee development options
- Strong advisory capabilities towards managers and P&C, with a proven ability to assess complex cases and create structured recommendations
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meritorious:
- Relevant education within HR, labour law, or a related area
- Experience working within the automotive sector or a large P&C organization
- Experience working in SuccessFactors
- Experience working with transition organizations such as TRR and/or TSL
Scope and access
