Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in system engineering, **IT/OT integration**, and working within project environments, while experience in automation engineering is considered an asset. Professional fluency in English with strong communication skills is required; Swedish language proficiency is an advantage, or applicants should show a willingness to learn. Your role and Responsibilities
ABB Marine & Ports is seeking an Engineer in Network & Cyber Security to join their Engineering & Development team. In this role, you'll drive security initiatives across the product portfolio, integrate robust security measures into products, and collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or Cybersecurity Engineering, experience in System Engineering and IT/OT integration, and strong communication skills.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Be a pivotal role in our Engineering & Development team, driving security initiatives across our product portfolio.
- Support development teams by integrating robust security measures into our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
- Act as a crucial link between our R&D and Engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and innovation.
- Partner with Release Owners and engage with ABB's global cyber security community to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Lead the transformation of ABB Ports' Network & Cyber Security architecture, including both hardware and software solutions.
Qualifications for the role
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Network Engineering or Cybersecurity Engineering, preferably, with two or more years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in System Engineering, IT/OT integration and Project Environment, with experience in Automation Engineering being a plus.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills; Swedish language skills are an advantage and if not proficient, we see that you have a willingness to learn.
- Driven by curiosity and a strong desire to learn about and implement new technologies.
- A team player with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
