Full-stack Engineer

Ingrid Capacity AB · Stockholm · Tills vidare · Deadline 2027-02-10

Ingrid Capacity AB is seeking a **Full-stack Engineer** to join its Platforms team, which manages the Cloud, Data, and Applications platforms powering battery optimization, real-time trading, and grid balancing. Working in a hands-on capacity with direct product ownership, the role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining production-grade services and user interfaces for traders, asset operators, and external partners. Daily responsibilities include developing containerized microservices in Python (using FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy/SQLModel) and frontends with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, supported by PostgreSQL, Redis, and BigQuery. Engineers also contribute to API design, event-driven architectures, and the broader tech roadmap across domains such as Optimization & Trade, Delivery & Steering, or Partner Experience. Applicants must have at least **four years of full-stack engineering experience** building complex backend systems alongside frontends using TypeScript and React with modern, type-safe tooling. While backend language experience remains flexible, Python is preferred. Candidates should have **cloud platform experience** in GCP or an equivalent provider, paired with a solid grasp of containerization with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring. Experience within the energy sector is an optional bonus rather than a requirement, and applicants are expected to be comfortable utilizing modern AI tools to enhance workflows.

About us Ingrid was born out of a simple belief: the energy transition must move faster and work smarter. We're pioneers at the forefront of the global energy transition — pushing boundaries, turning bold ideas into reality, and solving the problems that matter most.

The INtelligent GRID of tomorrow needs to absorb and release more power. We develop, build and operate high-performance batteries — the lungs of modern energy infrastructure — enabling a more flexible and resilient energy supply across Europe. With 500 MW already deployed across the Nordics and rapid expansion into continental Europe, we manage, optimize and trade both our own assets and those of third parties through our sophisticated tech platform, making every battery — and the entire grid — stronger.

About the role

Software and smart solutions are at the core of how we tackle the toughest bottlenecks in the power system. Our Ingrid Technology team builds and maintains the platform that powers real-time trading decisions, grid balancing, asset optimization, and the data pipelines that keep our operations sharp. The systems we build run at scale, interact with live energy markets, and directly influence the stability of the grid.

We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the Platforms team - a group that owns the Cloud, Data, and Applications platforms. You'll work across the full stack, focusing on external end-user products, with the only limit being your own curiosity and ambition.

This is a hands-on engineering role in a fast-moving environment. You'll have real ownership over what you build, collaborate closely with colleagues across trading, market intelligence, and asset operations. You’ll deploy often and see your impact quickly.
