Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is seeking a **Fullstack Software Engineer** for a consulting assignment based in Gothenburg from 19 October 2026 through 31 December 2027, replacing a team member on parental leave. Operating under a **hybrid work setup** with 50% remote flexibility (two to three days per week in the office), the position joins the newly merged Polestar.com and Test Drive product team. The engineer will work across the full software development lifecycle within a Scrum team to enhance and evolve existing business-critical digital products rather than building from scratch. Responsibilities encompass delivering production code, testing, documentation, and diagrams, with frontend and backend workloads balanced around the team's needs and the consultant's individual strengths. Applicants must have Swedish work authorization, with no visa sponsorship available, and be available immediately or on short notice. The role requires a formal education in software development alongside **7–10 years of relevant experience** and demonstrated proficiency in C#, .NET, React Router 7, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Serverless, and GraphQL. Experience with Remix, GitHub, Datadog, Headless CMS, NoSQL, and Azure AD is considered meritorious.

The assignment
You will ba a part of a product team to deliver all artifacts as laid out for the Polestar Software Development Lifecycle. For example; working production code, testing, documentation, diagrams etc.
- You will be a part of a Scrum team responsible for some of client's most business-critical digital products.
- The focus is on enhancing and evolving existing solutions rather than developing new ones from scratch.
- This is a full-stack role, where the consultant is expected to work across the entire development lifecycle, from frontend to backend. The balance between frontend and backend work will be adjusted based on the consultant’s strengths and the team’s needs.
- The team has high ambitions and limited capacity, which suggests that the selected consultant is expected to contribute independently from day one.
About the team
This role will join the newly merged Polestar.com & Test Drive product team within the Digital Engagement segment. The team consists of 5 other Senior Software Engineers, 1 Product owner, 1 Business Analyst, 1 Product Lead and 1 Technical Manager. Our scope is Polestar’s online home, together with Polestar’s full Test Drive solution.
