Astek Sweden AB is recruiting a **Group Design Leader** to take a key technical role in **automotive product development** focused on Interior, Exterior, or Body-in-White components. The position involves driving design from early concept stages through to industrialization, while coordinating cross-functional efforts across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and external suppliers. Core responsibilities include ensuring full compliance with technical standards, customer requirements, and project targets, as well as conducting design reviews, performing risk assessments, resolving technical issues, and mentoring design engineers within the project team. Applicants must hold a **B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering** or a similar field, combined with several years of experience in automotive product development. Prior experience as a Group Design Leader, Design Leader, Technical Leader, or in a similar capacity is required, alongside a strong grasp of automotive development processes and fluency in English. Practical experience working with CATIA V5 and Teamcenter is highly valued, as are strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

About the role:
- Drive design from concept development to industrialization

Your Profile
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Several years of experience in automotive product development
- Previous experience as Group Design Leader, Design Leader, Technical Leader, or similar role
- Strong understanding of automotive development processes
- Experience working with CATIA V5 and Teamcenter is highly valued
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
