Cue Dee AB is recruiting a **Head of Product Development** based in Kista, Stockholm, through a recruitment collaboration with Jefferson Wells. The position is organized as a structured succession: working initially alongside the current R&D Manager, the appointee is expected to fully take over the function within 6 to 12 months, joining the management team, reporting directly to the CEO, and formally leading a team of senior and junior designers. The primary mission focuses on structural technology and mechanical design, driving the product portfolio for telecom infrastructure supporting 6G transitions from initial requirements to manufacturing. Work also involves collaborating with sales on customer needs, with **travel across Sweden and Europe** estimated at 15 to 20 days per year to visit production teams, suppliers, customers, and offices outside Umeå and in Poland. Applicants need a relevant technical degree or engineering background alongside proven experience in mechanical product development, manufacturing, and leading small teams of engineers. Essential technical competencies include knowledge of structural design, manufacturing methods, and materials, **particularly steel and aluminum**. Strong English fluency is required. An understanding of structural engineering, load-bearing structures, or building technology is an advantage, while Swedish proficiency and prior telecom industry experience are beneficial assets rather than requirements.

Cue Dee is the Nordic market leader in telecom infrastructure solutions, with a strong market presence and office in Stockholm, Umeå and Gdansk. We design, develop, and supply optimized steel and aluminum structures, both standard and customized, for telecom sites and rooftop applications worldwide. We are looking for our new Head of Product Development. This is a structured succession role: you will start hands-on alongside our current R&D Manager. Within 6-12 months, you will fully take over the function, join the Management Team, report directly to the CEO, and take on formal responsibility for your own team of senior and junior designers. The Mission: Technical Leadership, develop new products for the infrastructure for 6G Innovation This role is heavily weighted toward structural technology and design, giving you the mandate to shape our technical roadmap as the world prepares for the implementation of 6G.
- Design for Manufacture: Drive mechanical and structural product development from raw requirements to market-ready products. You ensure that what you and the team design can be manufactured efficiently.
- Commercial Acumen: You apply your technical expertise to lay the strategic and technical groundwork for new deals, providing our sales team with the perfect product foundation to close agreements. You need to be business driven and open to meeting and understanding customers to industrialize the customer needs into our new product portfolio.
- Presence & Travel: Your base is in Kista, but you will visit our other office outside Umeå and our team in Poland. Travel is primarily within Sweden and Europe (approx. 15-20 days per year) to meet customers, production teams, and suppliers.

- Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and coaching a smaller group of engineers or product developers.
- The Foundation: A relevant technical degree or engineering background, combined with a solid track record in mechanical product development and manufacturing.
- The Tech & Material Edge: Knowledge in structural design and in materials, manufacturing methods, materials and particularly steel and aluminum.
- Building/Structural Mindset: Since our products are installed in demanding environments (often on existing building rooftops), a solid understanding of structural engineering, load-bearing structures, or building technology is an advantage.
- The Mindset: Accountable, pragmatic, and business-minded. You avoid unnecessary overengineering and focus on safety, compliance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Language: Fluent English. Swedish is a strong asset.
