Bertrandt Sverige AB is hiring a **HIL Systems Engineer** to support its automotive engineering operations in Gothenburg. The position focuses on coordinating the integration of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems to ensure proper setup and functionality across various development phases. Core duties include maintaining and optimizing test benches and automation environments, coordinating with global teams on hardware and software integration and testing, and supporting validation setups using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, and Python. The work requires regular cross-functional collaboration alongside system engineers, software developers, and validation teams, with an expectation of **on-site collaboration** at the Gothenburg office. Candidates must have practical experience with **HIL modeling and automation environments** within embedded systems or the automotive sector. The role requires working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Python, CAN, and Automotive Ethernet, combined with an understanding of CI/CD pipelines, software verification, and test automation frameworks. Professional proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory, and applicants must already hold valid work authorization in Sweden.

What to expect:
- Coordinates the integration of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems, ensuring efficient setup and functionality across development stages.
- Maintain and optimize test benches and automation environments to support validation activities.
- Coordinate global teams for software and hardware integration and testing.
- Support the development of validation setups using MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Python, and related tools.
- Collaborate closely with system engineers, software developers, and validation teams to ensure seamless workflow and data consistency.
What you bring along:
- Experience with HIL modeling and automation environments within automotive or embedded systems.
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, Automotive Ethernet, CAN, and Python.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, software verification, and test automation frameworks.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Structured, proactive, and analytical working style.
- This role requires on-site collaboration at our Gothenburg location and candidates must hold valid work authorization in Sweden.
