Cyberway AB is recruiting a **Java Developer** to deliver backend solutions for clients and projects across various industries. Based in **Skåne**, the position involves working both independently and in teams, maintaining close collaboration with colleagues and customers on modern technology initiatives. The responsibilities centre on building scalable, impactful systems while helping shape the company’s collaborative culture and technical direction. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/Computer Engineering, or a vocational higher education (YH) qualification, alongside **at least five years of professional backend experience** in Java and Spring Boot. Candidates need practical experience with SQL and MongoDB databases, as well as hands-on knowledge of Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins. Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required. Desirable qualifications include spoken and written Swedish, experience working in AWS environments, and familiarity with message-driven architectures utilizing Kafka or RabbitMQ.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot
- Degree in IT/Computer Engineering (BSc or MSc) or a vocational higher education (YH) qualification
- Experience working with databases such as MongoDB and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
- Experience AWS environments
- Experience with message-driven architectures using Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
