Techla Group AB is seeking a **DevOps Engineer** to join its consulting team in Gothenburg on client projects. The role focuses on improving delivery workflows, automating manual tasks, and developing robust, scalable platforms for production environments rather than solely maintaining existing systems. The position is open on flexible terms, accommodating both **permanent employment and freelance or subcontractor setups** for independent consultants. Candidates must offer several years of production-level experience in DevOps or platform engineering. Essential capabilities include hands-on work with Docker and Kubernetes in production, strong Linux proficiency, and experience with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code through Terraform or CloudFormation, and major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Scripting competence in Bash, Python, or PowerShell and a sound understanding of system architecture, networking, and security are also required. Experience with DevSecOps, observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog, cluster operations, and work in regulated or **security-critical environments** are considered advantageous.

We think you have
- Several years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering in production environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
- Strong Linux skills
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Worked with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with scripting in Bash, Python or PowerShell
- A solid understanding of system architecture, networking and security
You don’t need to know every tool on the list. We’re looking for someone confident in their skills, curious by nature and motivated to keep learning.

- DevSecOps
- Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog
- Building or operating Kubernetes clusters
