Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions AB is seeking a **Manager CGS Manufacturing & Logistics Operations** based in Gothenburg to unite and lead its local production and logistics functions. Leading a combined team of 15 staff—seven in production and eight in logistics—the role is responsible for daily operational delivery, safety, quality, budget management, and regulatory compliance. Key duties include setting priorities and operating cadences, managing processes and equipment improvements, collaborating across the global supply chain network and distribution hubs, and embedding Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement. Applicants must have at least **five years of people-management experience** in manufacturing, logistics operations, or both, alongside a background in leading teams that deliver quality products to specification and schedule. Candidates need practical experience in **Lean, Six Sigma, or structured continuous-improvement methodologies**, as well as demonstrated capability in managing operational change, budgets, and team development. Knowledge of medical-device Quality Management Systems, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements is highly relevant.

As Manager, CGS Manufacturing & Logistics Operations, you will bring two important operational areas together around clear goals, strong collaboration and a shared commitment to safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement. The opportunity You will lead the operative Manufacturing and Logistics teams and ensure quality products are delivered safely, to specification and on schedule, while maintaining the quality and regulatory standards expected in a medical-device environment. You will provide clear leadership across the teams, establish effective ways of working and create clarity around goals, responsibilities and priorities. Alongside daily operational leadership, you will strengthen processes and capabilities for the future, support operational and equipment improvements, lead change effectively and build a proactive continuous-improvement culture. The team you will lead is in total 15 persons divided by 7 in production and 8 in logistics. You will also collaborate with colleagues across our Global Supply Chain network and distribution hubs, connecting local operational priorities with the wider global organisation. Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Manufacturing and Logistics Operations teams, with a strong focus on people, safety, quality and delivery.
- Establish clear goals, responsibilities, priorities and an effective operating cadence across Manufacturing and Logistics.
- Ensure products are delivered to specification and schedule while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and stabilise processes and support equipment requirements, operational improvements and change implementation.
- Drive structured continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Develop team capability through coaching, clear accountability and opportunities for growth.
- Manage operational priorities, budgets and cost performance across Direct Manufacturing and Logistics Operations.
- Build strong collaboration across Manufacturing, Logistics, Global Supply Chain sites and distribution hubs.
- Lead change while maintaining operational continuity, quality and compliance.
About you You are an experienced and supportive operations leader who combines a strong delivery mindset with the ability to develop people and improve how work gets done. You are comfortable balancing daily operational delivery with continuous improvement, change and longer-term capability development. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- At least five years of people-management experience within manufacturing and/or logistics operations.
- Experience leading teams responsible for delivering quality products to specification and schedule.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing and/or logistics operations management.
- Practical experience applying Lean, Six Sigma or structured continuous-improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading operational change while protecting quality, compliance and delivery.
- Experience managing budgets, competing priorities, conflict and capability development.
- Understanding of operational planning, process and equipment requirements and change control.
- The ability to create accountability, build effective teams, develop talent and make sound operational decisions.
