Logikfabriken AB is hiring a **Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer** for a long-term consulting assignment with a client in the aerospace and defense industry. Working in an environment with high standards for security and quality, the role focuses on building and evolving a strategic cloud platform that combines OpenStack-based IaaS with modern PaaS and SaaS services. Key responsibilities include creating efficient self-service solutions for development teams, managing container platforms, applying GitOps principles, designing CI/CD pipelines, and writing Infrastructure as Code. The engineer will also handle observability, security, and compliance while serving as a technical advisor in close collaboration with agile teams. Candidates must have at least **five years of relevant experience** in platform engineering, DevOps, or similar roles, alongside solid expertise in Linux environments and scripting with Bash or Python. Essential skills include strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker, solid knowledge of Git, and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools such as **Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent**. Background in security, risk management, and compliance within cloud environments is also required. Prior experience with OpenStack, Ceph, public cloud providers, GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux, DevSecOps, and Internal Developer Platforms is advantageous.

You will be employed by Logikfabriken and work as a consultant on an assignment with one of our clients. In this role, you will work as a Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer, helping to build and further develop a cloud platform that combines OpenStack-based IaaS with modern PaaS and SaaS services.
An important part of the role is to create efficient self-service solutions and provide development teams with the tools and capabilities they need for fast, secure, and scalable software delivery.

TECH AND SKILLS
- Build and maintain OpenStack-based IaaS environments
- Develop self-service solutions for development teams
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Apply GitOps principles
- Build and manage container platforms using Kubernetes and Docker
- Work with observability, security, and compliance
- Collaborate closely with agile development teams

EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
- Solid experience working with Linux environments
- Experience with scripting in Bash or Python
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of Git and version control
- Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices
- Experience working closely with development teams in agile environments
- Experience with security, risk management, and compliance in cloud and platform environments
- Experience with automation and platform development, with a focus on developer experience
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with OpenStack, Ceph, or other private cloud and virtualization platforms
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
- Experience with observability solutions
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)
- Experience working in large organizations with high requirements for security, quality, and regulatory compliance
