Lovable Labs Sweden AB is seeking a **Product Manager (Agents)** to lead its software creation agent end-to-end, with the company operating from Stockholm alongside offices in London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. The position takes full ownership of the agent's quality, roadmap, and iterative feedback loops. Key responsibilities include running end-to-end user discovery, conducting competitive research and prompt experimentation, and establishing evaluation infrastructure to monitor regressions. Initial priorities focus on rebuilding the **agent evaluation framework**, identifying critical gaps in reliability and trust, and delivering enhanced agent error recovery and communication. Candidates must have at least eight years of experience in the software industry, including direct ownership of an AI- or LLM-powered product within a product management or engineering leadership capacity. The role requires hands-on experience **shipping agent-based systems**—specifically encompassing tool use, planning loops, multi-step reasoning, and failure modes—alongside programming fluency to evaluate model outputs and traces. English is the required working language. Familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks, as well as experience operating at the frontier of emerging AI practices, is advantageous.

What we're looking for
- 8+ years in the software industry, with direct ownership of an AI or LLM-powered product in a product management or engineering leadership role
- Hands-on experience building and shipping agent-based systems - you understand tool use, planning loops, multi-step reasoning, and how agents fail
- Technical fluency: you program or have programmed, and can read model outputs, traces, and evals with confidence
- Strong product sense and systems thinking - you know when to move fast and when to invest in foundational work, and you have sharp opinions on how agents should communicate, recover from errors, and earn user trust
- Preferred: Deep familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks; prior experience operating at the frontier where best practices are still being written
What you'll do
- Represent the user - synthesize findings on agent performance and behavior, and bring them to the team with clarity and conviction
- Run discovery end-to-end: user interviews, competitive research, eval analysis, prompt experimentation, and crafting messaging for upcoming agent capabilities
- Own the quality bar for agent outputs - drive eval infrastructure, monitor regressions, and ensure the agent improves with every release
- Scope ruthlessly - ship the right slice of functionality, validate what works through user feedback and metrics, and cut what doesn't
- Enable sales, support, and marketing with the context they need to communicate new agent capabilities effectively
- Projects you'll tackle first: Rebuilding the agent evaluation framework to catch regressions before they ship; running discovery on the biggest gaps in agent reliability and trust; defining and shipping the first iteration of improved agent error recovery and communication
