Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a **Production Engineer - Digitalization** to join its Cooling Systems business in Landskrona. Working within a global manufacturing environment for critical water-cooling systems, the position focuses on driving digitalization, automation, and AI adoption across factory operations and logistics. Responsibilities include developing dashboards, reports, and KPIs, analyzing operational data, and supporting the integration of production systems with ERP and digital platforms. The role also involves contributing to projects concerning MES, WMS, and Industry 4.0, while advancing Lean practices and process optimization across cross-functional teams under a **hybrid work model** arranged with the line manager. Candidates must hold a **degree in engineering or a related field** alongside practical experience from manufacturing or production environments. The role requires experience with databases, SQL, programming, and ERP systems such as SAP, as well as working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar platforms. Applicants need strong analytical and independent project management skills, combined with fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Your Responsibilities
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within production and logistics to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
- Collect, analyze, and visualize data to identify improvement opportunities and enable fact-based decisions.
- Drive the adoption and utilization of AI across factory operations to improve performance.
- Support integration between production systems, ERP solutions, and other digital platforms.
- Lead or contribute to projects related to MES, WMS, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement.
- Promote Lean ways of working and support process optimization across the organization.
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to implement sustainable and efficient solutions.
Your Background
- Degree in Engineering or a related field, with experience from manufacturing or production environments.
- Experience with databases, SQL, ERP systems (such as SAP), and programming.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage projects and drive improvements independently.
- Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Collaborative and inclusive mindset, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
