Beyond Gravity Sweden AB is seeking a **Production Manager** to lead an assembly team at its facility in Linköping. The role involves overseeing manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing, as well as composite and bonding processes including automated fiber placement, autoclave operations, and non-destructive inspection. Responsibilities encompass shop-floor management, defining production standards, meeting budget, quality, and delivery targets, driving productivity improvements, and supporting capital expenditure planning. The position carries full managerial and personnel responsibility for direct reports—including competence planning, recruitment, and performance management—alongside collaborative work on non-conformance investigations and process optimization. The employer offers a **hybrid work arrangement** with flexibility and autonomy. Candidates must hold a **bachelor’s or master’s degree** in technical studies, preferably with a production-related qualification. Requirements include a proven management track record and a solid technical and production background within a project-based industry. Applicants also need practical experience applying operational excellence methods and a strong understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations. Prior managerial experience in a regulated environment or background in the space or aerospace sector is considered an advantage.

Your Mission
- Leads a production team
- Responsible for the execution of the following activities:
- Assembly Execution (Manufacturing, Assembly and Integration and Testing)
- Composite and Bonding (AFP, Autoclave, NDI)
- Leads and directs the Assembly team of the plant through efficiency in:
- Manufacturing Execution
- Ensuring the project production budgets
- Shopfloor-Management and define the production standards
- Productivity improvement initiatives
- CAPEX planning in line with new product introductions
- Execution of the shop orders within the framework of the specified quantity, quality, delivery dates and costs
- Cooperation with the quality assurance / product assurance ensuring the necessary production documentation
- Optimize manufacturing processes in terms of cost, quality, defect risk/tolerance in collaboration with manufacturing engineering, quality- / product assurance and production planning and support processes
- Support the investment/Capex planning and execution by ensuring to meet the planned financial budgets
- Collaboration in the non-conformance process and measures for route cause analyses, corrective and preventive measures
- Support of the Industrial Engineering team in quotations, concept work and developments
- Proactively communicates and aligns with the adjacent Production Manager for best practice and synergies within the division
- Takes the managerial responsibility towards the direct reports, performing the HR processes such as competence planning, recruitment, performance management, development etc.
- Lead and develop the team in accordance with the company values as well as business strategy and goals
- Lead and develop the team to create high engagement, good work environment and positive team spirit
- Develop and encourage the culture of diversity, equity and inclusion in our organization
Your Story
Must’s:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in technical studies, preferably in production related diploma
- Management track record in an industry environment
- Solid technical and production background in a project-based industry
- Understanding of Quality standards and Health & Safety regulations
- Experience in applying Operational Excellence Methods
Nice to have’s:
- Manager experience in a regulated environment
- Space or Aerospace experience
