I-Ray IT Solutions AB is hiring a **Quality Assurance (QA) Consultant IT Projects** in Sundsvall on a **hybrid / partial remote** basis. The assignment runs from 17 November 2026 until 30 November 2027, with an option to extend through 30 November 2028. The initial scope is 50%, with the potential to increase to 100% if required. The role focuses on ensuring quality across IT projects, processes, and deliveries, which includes developing and monitoring quality assurance plans, reviewing project schedules, estimates, and budgets, and conducting operational risk analyses. Responsibilities also involve identifying deficiencies, tracking corrective actions, reporting recommendations to steering groups and management, and leading smaller IT activities or sub-projects when needed. Candidates must hold **competency level 4 or higher** and have at least two years of experience as a QA Manager alongside at least two years of developing and following up on QA plans for major projects. Applicants need demonstrated experience conducting risk analyses, reporting to project teams and steering committees, very good spoken and written Swedish, and good spoken and written English. Preferred qualifications include QA experience in large or complex organizations, familiarity with the PEJL project management model, experience leading IT development or operational activities, and background in Microsoft 365 implementations within complex environments.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Consultant to ensure quality across IT projects, processes, and deliveries. The consultant will support project teams in achieving objectives, managing risks, maintaining quality standards, and delivering results within agreed timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and follow up on quality assurance plans.
- Review project plans, schedules, budgets, estimates, and deliverables.
- Ensure project, process, and product quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead and conduct operational and project risk analyses.
- Identify quality deficiencies and follow up on corrective actions.
- Compile findings from reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for project management and steering groups.
- Support project teams in achieving agreed objectives and expected outcomes.
- Lead smaller projects, sub-projects, or IT-related activities when required.
Required Qualifications
- Competency level 4 or higher.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a QA Manager.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and following up on quality assurance plans for major projects.
- Experience leading and conducting risk analyses.
- Experience reporting to and communicating with steering groups and project teams.
- Very good Swedish skills, both spoken and written.
- Good English skills, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance within large or complex organizations.
- Experience leading smaller IT development, management, or operational activities.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 implementations in complex operational environments.
- Experience working according to the PEJL project management model.
