Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a **Repair & Maintenance Engineering Senior Professional** to join its Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. This unit handles the development and manufacture of water cooling systems for power electronics and other high-reliability applications. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and conducting preventive inspections and maintenance to minimize production downtime, as well as troubleshooting and executing prompt repairs during unplanned shutdowns. Key duties include managing service contracts with external providers, handling procurement for tools and spare parts, coordinating instrument calibration, and supporting operator maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also collaborates closely with Production and Production Engineering to enhance machine performance and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Applicants must have a **technical background** combined with solid practical experience in **structured maintenance within manufacturing** or production environments. Strong communication skills in both **Swedish and English**, spoken and written, are required. Familiarity with Lean principles and 5S methodologies is considered an advantage.

How you´ll make an impact
- Plan, schedule, and perform regular inspections and maintenance activities to help prevent equipment fail-ures and minimize production downtime.
- Manage and maintain service agreements with external maintenance providers.
- Troubleshoot and carry out repairs promptly in response to equipment failures or unplanned shutdowns.
- Support and promote operator maintenance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and 5S practices from a maintenance perspective.
- Perform and coordinate calibration of instruments and equipment.
- Identify and initiate equipment upgrades to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance.
- Manage the procurement of maintenance-related equipment, tools, and spare parts.
- Work closely with Production and Production Engineering teams to improve machine performance, extend equipment lifespan, and support energy-efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure machinery, equipment, and maintenance activities comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Your Background
- You have a technical background and solid experience working with structured maintenance in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean principles and 5S methodologies is considered an advantage.
- You are proactive, collaborative, and solution-focused, with a strong drive to achieve results.
- You build positive relationships and communicate respectfully and effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- You can identify opportunities for improvement and help implement practical solutions related to equipment reliability and performance.
- You are organized and able to manage priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain a calm, problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong communication skills and are comfortable expressing yourself clearly in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
