Role Summary
An experienced Requirements & Delivery Manager – SAP FI is needed to support the continued development and optimization of accounting processes within a large-scale finance platform. The assignment focuses on strengthening core accounting capabilities and advancing SAP FI-based solutions, including integrations with internal and external service providers, technical client interfaces, invoicing, status communication, dunning, and debt collection.
The role bridges business and technical stakeholders by transforming needs into clear, structured, scalable, reusable, and implementation-ready requirements. You will contribute to prioritization, solution design, delivery planning, and quality assurance throughout the requirements-to-delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.
- Translate business needs into structured, implementation-ready requirements for SAP FI-related solutions.
- Define and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and requirements concepts.
- Assess requirements based on business value, relevance, feasibility, time, effort, and cost considerations.
- Support backlog prioritization and ensure requirements are appropriately prepared for established delivery processes.
- Develop solution proposals for existing accounting processes and new platform features.
- Prepare decision materials, delivery roadmaps, recommendations, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Coordinate interface-related requirements and dependencies across internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality-assure deliverables for consistency, completeness, and feasibility.
- Document decisions, recommendations, risks, and open items to enable effective handover into delivery teams.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong experience with SAP FI and finance-related solution development.
- Requirements engineering, including the creation and maintenance of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Business analysis and delivery management in a technical product development environment.
- Experience working with technical interfaces and integrations involving internal and external service providers.
- Ability to create scalable and reusable requirements and solution concepts.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounting processes, invoicing, dunning, and receivables management is advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in technical product development, requirements engineering, business analysis, or delivery management, preferably within an SAP FI environment. You have demonstrated experience structuring functional requirements and translating business needs into clear technical deliverables. Professional English proficiency at C1 level is required. German language skills are highly advantageous.
