Asta Agency is recruiting a **Sales & Marketing Manager** for an international FMCG client, based in Stockholm. Offered as a full-time consultancy assignment employed through Asta Agency with an immediate start, the role involves managing commercial operations across Denmark, Finland, and the Baltic markets. Working closely with the Market Manager, the position oversees P&L, pricing, investments, budgeting, and forecasting. Core duties include developing long-term distributor partnerships, executing joint sales and marketing plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and international key account management. The post requires **occasional travel within Nordic and Baltic markets**. Applicants must have at least **three years of experience** in sales, key account management, marketing, or category management, preferably within FMCG. Strong analytical capabilities, solid Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel), and fluent written and spoken English are essential. Experience working with distributors is advantageous, as is familiarity with Nielsen, GfK, and SAP.

The recruitment process is managed by Asta Agency. The position will initially be offered as a consultancy assignment, meaning that you will be employed by Asta Agency while working with our client.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys combining sales, business development and strategic thinking with strong partner relationships.
Working closely with the Market Manager, you will play an important role in developing and executing commercial plans and strategies across the region. You will manage and develop key distributor relationships across Denmark, Finland and the Baltic markets, while collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance and other internal stakeholders.
From day one, you will take on significant commercial responsibility and have the opportunity to influence how the business develops across these markets. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, giving you the opportunity to turn commercial insights into concrete actions and measurable results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drive the business across your markets, including P&L, performance, pricing and investments.
- Build strong, long-term distributor partnerships and ensure successful execution of commercial strategies.
- Develop budgets, forecasts and commercial plans to drive sustainable growth.
- Develop and execute sales, marketing and trade marketing plans together with distributors and internal teams.
- Identify new opportunities and continuously develop the distributed business and product portfolio across the region.
- Collaborate with International Key Account Management to develop strategic customer relationships.
- Track performance, lead business reviews and work cross-functionally to ensure plans and targets are delivered.
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
We believe that you are a commercially minded and results-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership and turning strategy into action. You are comfortable working independently, but equally energized by collaborating with colleagues and partners across different functions and markets.
You also bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, KAM, Marketing or Category Management, preferably within FMCG.
- Experience working with distributors is an advantage.
- A strong commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and a genuine passion for execution and delivering results.
- Experience with Nielsen, GfK and SAP is a strong advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Willingness to travel within the Nordic and Baltic markets as required.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
