Eccoci AB is looking for a **Senior Airframe & Structures Prototype Technician** to work closely with structures, systems, stress, design, and engineering departments. The position focuses on aircraft build, final assembly, installation, and modification, with an emphasis on advising on production issues and necessary modifications throughout the build process. Responsibilities also include **chairing weekly progress meetings** to cover shortages, engineering challenges, and general status updates, balancing independent tasks with cross-functional teamwork. Applicants should hold a **technical education or an equivalent combination of education**, with suitable backgrounds including aircraft maintenance engineering (avionics or electrical), aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, or vocational qualifications in aircraft systems, avionics, or electrical installation. Candidates must possess vast experience in aircraft build, final assembly, installation, and modification, as well as strong communication skills. Experience working with fighter aircraft jets and on prototype projects is preferred.
Key Qualifications & Experience.
· Vast experience in Aircraft build, Final Assembly, Installation & Modification (Fighter Aircraft jets preferred).
· Experience in working on prototype projects. (preferred)
· Working closely with Structures, Systems, Stress, Design & Engineering departments.
· Strong ability to advise modifications and production issues throughout the process.
· Comfortable working on own and in a team environment.
· To chair weekly meetings, progress reporting, shortages, engineering issues etc.
Education & Professional Background
The ideal candidate will possess a technical education. Suitable backgrounds may include:
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics or Electrical)
• Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Vocational or technical qualifications in aircraft systems, avionics, or electrical installation
• Equivalent combination of education
