Senior Data Analyst

Acast AB (publ) · Stockholm · Tills vidare · Deadline 2026-10-25

Acast AB (publ) is seeking a **Senior Data Analyst** to join its BI team. Serving as a dedicated data partner for Finance, Product, Sales, and Content Managers, the position spans full-stack data work from raw data to consumption-ready dashboards. Responsibilities center on owning and evolving core reporting infrastructure and data models in dbt and Omni across podcast consumption, revenue, payouts, and product analytics metrics. The role involves **building agentic analytics foundations** to enable AI agents in Omni to answer real-time stakeholder questions, identifying risks in payout and platform metrics early, and working closely with Analytics Engineers, Data Engineers, developers, and Product Managers to align metrics definitions. Applicants must possess **strong SQL and dbt skills**, proficiency with BI tools such as Omni, and experience accelerating analytics development using AI tools like Cursor or Claude. Candidates need a proven ability to translate complex business logic into robust, maintainable data models alongside clear metrics definitions. Effective communication, active listening, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously across commercial and technical teams are essential.

About Acast

Since 2014, Acast has been building the world’s most valuable podcast marketplace, creating the technology that connects podcast creators, advertisers, and listeners. Its marketplace spans more than 140,000 podcasts, 3,300 advertisers, and one billion quarterly listens. Crucially, those listens are monetized wherever they happen—across any podcast app or listening platform.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our BI team as the trusted data partner for Finance, Product, Sales, and Content Managers who work day-to-day with our podcasters. This role puts you at the forefront of agentic analytics, building the foundation that empowers AI agents to help stakeholders directly query and navigate complex data on their own. Spanning full-stack data work from raw data to consumption-ready dashboards, the position is as much about people and clear context as it is about data, so you'll spend as much time listening, clarifying, and building trust as you will building models.

The best person for this role is someone who genuinely enjoys sitting with a stakeholder's half-formed question, working out what they're really asking, and bringing back an answer that makes their decision easier. You'll care as much about how something lands with the person asking as about whether the number is right.
