Techrytera AB is seeking a **Senior DevOps Engineer** for a consultant assignment based in Jonsered. The position focuses on owning and developing CI/CD infrastructure across both embedded and cloud environments. Primary duties involve operating, maintaining, and improving an on-premise toolchain for embedded development using Jenkins, Docker, and Gerrit, alongside integrating static analysis tools such as CodeChecker and cppcheck. Additionally, the role entails building and maintaining Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for web services deployed to AWS and Azure, writing pipeline automation in Groovy and Python, supporting developers, documenting workflows, and taking **independent ownership** over technical plans and priorities. Applicants must have more than five years of hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience, backed by **expert-level Jenkins knowledge** including pipeline-as-code and shared libraries. The role requires strong Docker capabilities for containerised build environments, Linux system administration skills, and experience with Python automation, Azure DevOps pipelines, and cloud deployments to AWS and Azure. Candidates must also demonstrate experience with Gerrit or comparable Git review workflows integrated with CI, familiarity with static analysis integration, and fluency in spoken and written English.

Job Description We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to own and develop our CI/CD infrastructure across embedded and cloud software. The main focus is our on-prem toolchain for embedded software development, based on Jenkins, Docker and Gerrit with integrated static analysis. The assignment also covers CI/CD for our web services, built in Azure DevOps and deployed to AWS, plus a smaller number of systems deployed to Azure. It is a broad, technically varied role. The consultant works independently, turns high-level direction into a plan, and sets their own priorities. Tasks Operate, maintain and develop the on-prem CI/CD environment (Jenkins, Docker, Gerrit). Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and automation in Groovy and Python. Integrate and tune static analysis (CodeChecker, cppcheck) in the build and review flow. Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for web services deployed to AWS and Azure. Improve the stability, performance, security and scalability of build and deployment infrastructure. Plan and prioritise improvement work from high-level goals, and coordinate with development teams. Document the infrastructure and processes and support developers in using the CI/CD tooling. Required skills >5 years of hands-on DevOps / CI/CD experience.
Expert-level Jenkins knowledge, including pipeline-as-code (declarative and scripted Groovy) and shared libraries.
Strong Docker experience, including containerised build environments.
Gerrit, or a comparable Git code-review workflow, including integration with CI.
Python for automation and tooling.
Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML).
Deployment to AWS and Azure.
Static analysis integration (CodeChecker, cppcheck or similar).
Linux system administration.
Proven ability to work independently, plan and prioritise your own work, and take ownership.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
