Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a **Senior Electrical Engineer** to join its Grid Automation engineering team. In this role, the engineer designs relay and control systems for substations, leads electrical design activities across projects, and provides technical solutions to ensure quality project delivery. The position involves collaborating with customers, domestic project teams, and international engineering counterparts in India and the Czech Republic, alongside supporting knowledge sharing and team development within an environment offering **flexible working arrangements**. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in electrical design within transmission and distribution projects. Practical experience using **EPC ElMaster** for design and drafting is required, while experience with E3 is also relevant. The role demands proficiency in both Swedish and English, coupled with strong collaborative and leadership capabilities. A university degree or vocational (YH) education in an electrical or other relevant technical discipline is considered an advantage.

Your background
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design within transmission and distribution projects
- Experience using EPC ElMaster for design and drafting. Experience with E3 is also considered relevant.

- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with ability to identify opportunities, collaborate, and take the lead when needed
