Surely Sci & Tech AB is seeking a **Senior Electrical Engineer – Media Routing & Cable Harness** for a permanent position based in Stockholm. Working on an automotive project focused on cab systems, the role entails designing and verifying media routing for steering wheel, steering column, and lower storage cable harnesses, as well as optimizing routing to reduce variants, wear, and waste. Duties also include updating engineering drawings, managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ordering parts, supporting production during test assemblies, and coordinating with suppliers using Agile and Scrum frameworks. The position features a hybrid schedule requiring **three days per week onsite**. Applicants must hold an **engineering degree or equivalent experience** alongside a proven background in automotive engineering. Essential qualifications include experience with ECO handling, engineering change management, and participating in large-scale implementation projects within fast-paced environments. Professional proficiency in both English and Swedish is required, while additional European languages are an advantage. Preferred assets include prior experience in cable harness and media routing, measurement verification, production test assembly support, and familiarity with PI Planning and Scrum practices. VISA application support is available for eligible candidates.

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join an exciting automotive project focused on media routing, cable harness design, and cab systems.
You will work closely with design, production, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and support successful product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and verify media routing for steering wheel, steering column, and lower storage cable harnesses.
- Optimize cable routing and lengths to reduce variants, wear, and material waste.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Update and review engineering drawings.
- Prepare and manage ECOs, create MRs, order parts, and verify installations.
- Support production during test assemblies and implement improvements through Change Requests (CRs).
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and compliance.
- Work within Agile PI Planning and Scrum-based project execution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Automotive engineering experience.
- Experience with ECO handling and engineering change management.
- Experience working on large engineering implementation projects.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced project environments.
