Senior HIL Development Engineer – Automotive Embedded Systems

Integro Consulting AB · Göteborg · Tills vidare · Deadline 2026-10-28

Integro Consulting AB is recruiting a **Senior HIL Development Engineer – Automotive Embedded Systems** based in Gothenburg, with the start date by agreement. The role focuses on designing, developing, commissioning, and maintaining advanced Hardware-in-the-Loop test rigs and environments rather than just executing tests. Responsibilities include integrating ECUs, I/O systems, and communication networks into platforms like dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, or Speedgoat, alongside building real-time MATLAB/Simulink plant and control models. The position also entails daily bench operations, configuration management, **system-level debugging**, and providing technical leadership and mentorship across cross-functional engineering teams. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or equivalent. The role requires several years of **hands-on automotive HIL development** and integration experience, including demonstrated proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink real-time simulation, automotive communication protocols, and diagnostic tools. Desirable qualifications include familiarity with ADAS systems and sensor technologies, test automation, CI/CD setups, vehicle dynamics modelling, experience in large-scale automotive projects, and a Swedish B driving licence.
