Working across client projects in sectors such as automotive, telecom, and aerospace, the role focuses on delivering scalable services and solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing in Java and Spring Boot, discussing architecture, writing testable code according to SOLID principles, and conducting code reviews. The role also includes collaborating in agile teams with architects and product owners, continuous delivery through CI/CD pipelines, deploying to cloud environments such as AWS, and mentoring colleagues. Applicants must have demonstrated experience working with **Java (versions 11–25)**, Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs, and JPA/Hibernate alongside relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL. Candidates also require practical competence in JUnit and mock frameworks, build and version control tools like Maven and Git, containerisation such as Docker, message queues, OpenAPI, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as cloud deployment in AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with Liquibase, NoSQL databases, additional programming languages such as Python, monitoring tools like Prometheus, automated testing, or infrastructure automation frameworks serves as an advantage.

The Role
As a Senior Java Developer with us, you will work on assignments for clients where technology, quality, and scalability are in focus. You will become a vital part of our consultant team, contributing both technically and culturally.
You will:
- Develop modern services and solutions in Java.
- Work closely with Product Owners, architects, and developers in agile teams.
- Write testable and sustainable code according to SOLID principles.
- Deliver continuously via CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship.
- Work with cloud technologies such as AWS.
A Typical Week
- Brainstorming features and solutions with the team.
- Implementing new functionality in Java and Spring Boot.
- Discussing and deciding on architecture.
- Reviewing code to ensure high quality.
- Delivering to the cloud and following up on production.
- Exploring new technology and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications
You have experience in:
- Java 11–25
- Spring / Spring Boot
- REST APIs (building and consuming)
- JUnit 4/5 & Mock frameworks (Mockito/EasyMock)
- Maven & Git
- Docker or similar container technology
- JPA / Hibernate
- Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.)
- Message queues (JMS, Kafka, AWS SQS)
- OpenAPI
- Cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Bonus points if you also know:
- Liquibase
- NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.)
- Python or other languages
- Monitoring (e.g., Prometheus)
- Test automation (security, integration, load)
- Automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation)
