Explipro Group AB is recruiting a **Senior .NET & Go Developer** to work on-site in Gothenburg under permanent employment conditions. As part of a cross-functional agile team, the developer will build and evolve the high-performance core backend architecture, integrations, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers connecting mobile applications with vehicle telemetry. Duties center on hands-on coding, feature development, and architectural design within a high-traffic, distributed cloud-native environment. This client assignment requires **full on-site presence** at the customer's office every day of the workweek, with no remote work available. Candidates must have **more than five years of backend software development experience** focusing on C# and .NET/.NET Core, alongside proven experience or a strong practical interest in developing performance-critical services with Go. Essential technical skills include microservices, distributed systems, secure API design with REST or GraphQL, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes. Professional fluency in English is mandatory, while Swedish is a major plus. Selection heavily prioritizes applicants who already reside in Sweden with a valid, pre-existing Swedish work permit and can start on short notice. Familiarity with Azure or AWS, CI/CD pipelines, message brokers, relational databases, Jira, and Git is advantageous.
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced System/Backend Engineer to help develop the high-performance core architecture behind a connected car ecosystem. You will join a diverse, cross-functional team working in agile sprints, contributing to the critical backend systems, integrations, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers that connect mobile applications with vehicle telemetry. The job includes hands-on coding, building robust new features, and driving the architecture forward in a high-traffic cloud environment.
Requirements:
- +5 years of professional experience in backend software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Proven experience or a strong, practical interest in developing performance-critical services using Go (Golang).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and secure API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Experience with modern cloud-native workflows, containerization, and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (Swedish is a major plus).
- Highly prioritized: Currently residing in Sweden with a valid, pre-existing Swedish work permit and available for a quick onboarding/short notice period.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and setting up automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experience with message brokers/queues (like Kafka or RabbitMQ) and relational databases.
- Knowledge of software development automation and tools like Jira and Git.
Location: On-site in Gothenburg, Sweden. Please note that this specific assignment requires being 100% on-site at the customer's office every day of the workweek; remote work is not available.
