Sway Sourcing Sweden Aktiebolag is seeking a **Senior Procurement Specialist – Technology & Supplier Management** for a 12-month assignment based in Stockholm. Working within the procurement organisation supporting Surveillance products, the role carries commercial responsibility for selected strategic suppliers across categories such as complex systems and computer products with advanced technical requirements. Key duties include executing strategic sourcing activities, negotiating commercial contracts, sourcing materials and services, aligning supplier capabilities with technology roadmaps and cost targets, and monitoring supplier performance. The position **involves domestic and international travel** to suppliers and company offices. Applicants must have **extensive strategic sourcing experience** gained within an industrial or technology-driven organisation, backed by relevant legal and commercial expertise in contract development and supplier relationship management. Professional fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is required. Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering or equivalent education, experience purchasing products with advanced technical content, and a solid grasp of supply chain tools and processes. Because of the nature of the work, the assignment is subject to a security vetting process, and specific citizenship requirements may apply depending on the role's classification.
In this assignment, you will join the procurement organisation supporting Surveillance products, helping shape sourcing strategies for key suppliers and technologies. With commercial responsibility for selected strategic suppliers, you will develop agreements and sourcing solutions that support business objectives.
Working closely with project managers, product managers and contract owners, you will use supply market insights to align supplier capabilities with cost targets and technology roadmaps. You will also monitor supplier performance throughout the lifecycle and support the supply management organisation when issues require escalation.
The main purchasing categories are complex systems and computer products with advanced technical requirements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing activities for the business area’s products.
- Manage commercial relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Negotiate and establish contracts that reflect business needs and commercial objectives.
- Source materials and services.
- Align sourcing plans with product, project and technology priorities.
- Monitor supplier performance and support the resolution of escalated issues.
- Build, manage and continuously improve supplier collaboration.

Required experience and skills:
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing.
- Ability to develop contracts that support the intended commercial outcome.
- Relevant legal and commercial experience, together with an interest in contractual matters.
- Experience building and managing productive supplier relationships.
- Sound judgement and confidence in making decisions with incomplete information.
- A committed, results-oriented approach and the ability to motivate others.
- Previous experience in an industrial or technology-driven organisation.
- Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.
