Senior Product Manager - Search & AI Discovery (12 months parental cover)

H & M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB · Stockholm · 6 månader – upp till 12 månader · Deadline 2026-10-30

H & M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB is hiring a **Senior Product Manager - Search & AI Discovery** in Stockholm for a **12-month parental cover**. Leading a cross-functional team alongside developers, an engineering manager, an analyst, and occasionally a solution architect, the role focuses on digital discoverability across global e-commerce platforms. Key duties include setting the product strategy and roadmap for core technical SEO—such as metadata, structured data, canonicals, URL architecture, and Core Web Vitals—while preparing the business for generative discovery, AI search, and shopping agents. The position translates platform shifts from providers like Google and OpenAI into experiments, clear backlog requirements, and actionable priorities across engineering, marketing, and commercial teams. Applicants need demonstrable experience in product management, digital commerce, SEO, search, or related digital product fields, paired with a solid grasp of **technical SEO** and its commercial impact. Competence in web fundamentals, CMS platforms, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is expected, along with experience collaborating with engineering teams in agile environments. The role requires strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills, fluency in English, and existing work authorization for Sweden, as visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not provided.

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Senior Product Manager for Search & AI Discovery, you will shape how customers find, explore and connect with our digital commerce experience — across traditional search and the next generation of AI-powered discovery. You will lead a cross-functional team focused on building strong technical foundations for discoverability while preparing the business for emerging search experiences, shopping agents and agentic commerce.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will collaborate closely with developers, an Engineering Manager, an Analyst and, when needed, a Solution Architect. Together, you will work at the intersection of technical SEO, digital commerce and emerging AI-led discovery, partnering across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content, Analytics and Commercial teams.

You will own the product strategy and roadmap for search discoverability, ensuring our digital platforms are built to be visible, scalable and high-performing across markets. This includes core technical SEO capabilities such as metadata, canonicals, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, structured data, hreflang, URL structures, pagination, faceted navigation and Core Web Vitals.

Beyond today’s search landscape, you will help define how we show up in AI-powered search, generative discovery and shopping-agent experiences. You will monitor developments from key platforms and partners, translate external change into clear recommendations, and turn emerging opportunities into experiments, product priorities and business impact.

As the digital lead for agentic commerce, you will drive alignment, clarity and adoption across teams. You will make complex SEO and AI-search topics understandable for different audiences, from engineers and specialists to business stakeholders and senior leaders, while balancing long-term direction with practical delivery, experimentation and continuous improvement.
