Legora AB is looking for a **Senior Software Engineer** to build and ship products for its AI-native legal workspace platform. The position involves full-stack ownership across the entire web platform, from architecting and implementing features end-to-end to balancing code quality, security, and delivery speed. Day-to-day duties include writing and reviewing code, mentoring junior team members, driving continuous technical improvements, and working across environments powered by TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes. The ideal applicant is an experienced software engineer with **several years of experience** building software products using modern technologies. Candidates should be comfortable working across the **entire tech stack**, with a primary focus on either frontend or backend development, and must demonstrate strong engineering judgment, the ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases quickly, and skill in explaining architectural trade-offs pragmatically. Previous experience with infrastructure and integrations is considered a significant plus.

The role
As a Senior Software Engineer at Legora you will build, review and ship amazing products helping legal professionals all over the world in their day-to-day job. You’ll get the chance to work across the entire tech stack with clear ownership and autonomy.
What you will be doing:
- Architect and implement features end-to-end for our web platform
- Take ownership of our codebase, balancing high-quality code, security and speed of development
- Work with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Azure and Kubernetes
- Review code and mentor junior colleagues to support them in their development, making the team even better!
- Drive continuous improvement and challenge us, the industry and yourself
Who you are
- A passionate engineer with several years of experience building great products using cutting-edge technologies
- You feel comfortable working across the entire tech stack, with focus on either frontend or backend development
- You’re autonomous and take pride in the code you write
- You have strong engineering judgment and taste, and can quickly understand unfamiliar codebases and control flows
