Primendro AB seeks a **Senior Software Engineer / Software Architect** to provide technical leadership and hands-on full-stack development across fintech, SaaS, proptech, AI, and blockchain domains. The position involves acting as primary software architect for **greenfield platform development**, designing end-to-end multi-tenant systems with physically isolated infrastructure, and leading architectural choices concerning scalability, security, and reliability. Key responsibilities include implementing TypeScript frontends and Fastify backend services, modeling PostgreSQL databases, integrating the Anthropic Claude API via AWS Bedrock for document processing, and developing digital asset pipelines, event-driven workflows, and payment and KYC integrations. Applicants must hold a **master's degree or equivalent** in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a closely related field, with a Postgraduate Diploma in AI/ML preferred. Selection requires at least 10 years of professional software development experience, previous work as a CTO or equivalent technical leader, and a track record of architecting multiple greenfield platforms. Candidates need expert-level skills in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Fastify, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, alongside experience with blockchain tools, physically isolated multi-tenant SaaS platforms, managing globally distributed engineering teams, and fluency in English.
About the role:
This is a highly specialized position requiring deep expertise in end-to-end software architecture and full-stack development across fintech, SaaS, proptech, AI, and blockchain domains. The ideal candidate has served as a primary software architect across multiple greenfield platforms and has held CTO-level technical leadership responsibilities while remaining hands-on.
Key responsibilities:
• Serve as primary software architect for greenfield platform development across multiple industry verticals
• Design and own end-to-end system architecture including TypeScript frontend applications, Fastify backend services, PostgreSQL database modeling, and cloud infrastructure
• Implement multi-tenant architectures with physically isolated tenant infrastructure including dedicated backend services, databases, and document storage
• Design asynchronous processing systems and business-critical workflows using React, Fastify, and PostgreSQL
• Integrate AI-powered document extraction and processing using Anthropic Claude API and AWS Bedrock
• Build event-driven workflows for reconciliation, notifications, auditing, and asynchronous operations
• Design and implement digital asset pipelines including watermarking, file preparation, and secure content delivery
• Integrate payment systems, KYC processes, and financial reconciliation workflows
• Provide technical consulting on architecture, security, scalability, and product development
• Lead technical design decisions involving reliability, security, scalability, maintainability, and delivery constraints
Mandatory qualifications:
• Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a closely related field (Postgraduate Diploma in AI/ML preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated experience as CTO or equivalent technical leadership role
• Proven track record as primary architect for multiple greenfield software platforms
• Expert-level proficiency in: React, Next.js, React Server Components, TanStack, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Expert-level proficiency in: Node.js, FastifyJS, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, REST, GraphQL
• Expert-level proficiency in: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (including Bedrock and SageMaker)
• Experience designing physically isolated multi-tenant SaaS architectures with dedicated backend services, databases, and document storage per tenant
• Experience integrating Anthropic Claude API for AI-assisted document extraction and processing
• Experience building multi-currency digital commerce platforms with automated payment verification and asset fulfillment
• Experience with Ethers, Viem, Wagmi, Hardhat, and Truffle for blockchain development
• Experience leading and managing globally distributed engineering teams across multiple countries
• Experience restructuring engineering organizations around codebase and domain ownership
• Experience establishing standardized technical interview frameworks and assessment processes
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
