Sway Sourcing Sweden Aktiebolag is hiring a **Senior Sourcing & Contracts Manager** for a large-scale industrial transformation project in Sweden, with placement in either Stockholm or Luleå. The position is a fixed-term engagement running from 9 November 2026 until 31 December 2027. Leading procurement activities across construction and infrastructure initiatives, the role is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier assessments, handling RFx processes and tender evaluations, negotiating contracts, and identifying commercial risks. Daily work involves working within a cross-functional procurement and contracting team alongside project managers, legal specialists, contractors, and external suppliers to deliver cost optimisation and smooth contract handovers. The role requires solid knowledge of commercial agreements and contract preparation, hands-on expertise with RFx processes and commercial bid analysis, as well as proven negotiation and communication abilities. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a large-scale industrial transformation project in Sweden.
In this role, you will lead procurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects, covering everything from sourcing strategies and supplier evaluations to tendering, contract negotiations, and contract handovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support project objectives.
- Manage supplier assessments, RFx processes, tender evaluations, and bid analysis.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Identify commercial risks and drive cost optimisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate contract handovers and support efficient project execution.
- Prepare procurement recommendations and decision-making materials for management.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in procurement processes and practices.
You will collaborate closely with project teams, legal specialists, contract managers, and external partners to ensure efficient procurement and successful project delivery.
Organisation & Key Deliverables
You will work within a procurement and contracting team supporting a major industrial project, collaborating with project managers, legal teams, suppliers, and contractors.
Your main focus will be developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier evaluations and tenders, conducting cost analyses, and ensuring smooth contract handovers.
The role requires compliance with procurement policies and regulations while driving cost efficiency, strong supplier relationships, and continuous process improvements across construction and infrastructure projects.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience handling commercial and technical responsibilities within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Solid knowledge of commercial agreements, contractual terms, and contract preparation.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, contractors, and external suppliers.
- Strong leadership capabilities combined with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities across different functions.
- Hands-on experience with RFx processes, tender assessments, quotation evaluations, and commercial bid analysis.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of procurement related to capital equipment, construction materials, and installation or construction work packages.
- Experience applying Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles and value-based procurement analysis.
- Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards relevant to construction procurement.
- Previous involvement in business transformation initiatives, operational improvement projects, or continuous improvement programmes.
